I'm SO MAD! My Walgreens will no longer accept TWO Coupons on BOGO items. I got screwed on the razors and the Loreal makeup! THEN my register rewards didn't print and I ended up only getting the $1 for M&Ms not the Oreo Cakesters! After all the arguing I was mad and left spending $25.56 when I planned half that!
Every store manager has different ideas about coupons and how you can use them. If you have another store in your area, you might try there when you get over your frustration. I often find that there is usually one store in a general area that is more coupon friendly than the others and I tend to check there for deals first.
I don't like confrontation either, and when it seems like a no go with the coupons that I was intending to use I often will let them know I'm not interested in those items then, unless I absolutely needed them which usually isn't the case. I won't spend much more than I intended to when I walked in or I'll walk out with nothing. So long as you know you're doing things fairly and legally, you have every right to change your mind and try another store.
Don't get discouraged! It's worth the effort most of the time! :)
Thanks! I should have said to forget it and that I would go to the other Walgreens but was so frustrated by that time I just paid and left. And your right, none of it was anything I Really needed at the time. I've gotten so many razors lately that I'll never be hairy again! hahaha
If you're up to it, take the items back...you could even take them to a different Walgreens, if not, chalk it up to a learning experience.
We all happen upon a cashier or manager from time to time that has different ideas about coupons.
