Meat on sale at Target!

Another good buy at Target this week... meat!!

I don't have a Super Target near me, so my local store doesn't carry any meat products but I would almost make the 40 minute trip for this deal! (I've done it before!)

There is currently a coupon on Target.com for $2 off Sutton & Dodge meat, which you can easily print multiples of at AFullCup.com if you are a member of their message board (just sign in and go to the coupon menu, Target coupons, then select how many of each you want).

Looks like some of the meat is on sale, making this a great week to use the coupon.

Look for the smaller packages of meat to get the best deal with the coupons.

Target Christmas 90% off...

I ventured into my local Target
and found a few good Christmas buys at 90% off,
thanks Jill for spiking my interest.

Most likely all of the Target stores have discounted to this and if you're wanting in on the fun, best get there quickly!

I found several really nice gift bags for $.02-$.30. Some Mini-boxes, like the kind you get at a Chinese restaurant for carry-out, only they were plaid red and green... not too Christmas like to be used any other time of the year for $.50 for a pack of 6.

They had several boxes of Choxie (Target brand) Chocolates from $.50+ . If you've never tried them, they are good chocolates.

There were several stockings and lots of tree skirts, a few boxes of Christmas lights and some Christmas bulbs left. Lots of gift bags, and a few boxes and Christmas cards, including some that hold pictures.
The specialty Christmas decorations in the card and candle area of the shop were being marked down to 75% off. Most of it still too pricey for me there.

I also found a some Rubbermaid 18 gal. containers marked $5.99, down from $8.99. Thet weren't red and green, just on sale.

Found in People Magazine (Oct 27 issue)...

Tear off the front cover of the magazine fold it and stuff it with 5 plastic Target grocery bags, and mail it in... it is even postage prepaid! They will send you a coupon for a free Target Retote reusable shopping tote.

If you don't get the magazine you can place them in a plain 8 1/2 x 11 or larger envelope and mail them. You'll have to pay for the postage, but you'll still get the free retote.

Free Carrots at Target!

Just noticed a new coupon on Target.com for carrots. The coupon is for $1 off a 1-3 lb bag of Green Giant Baby Carrots (excluding organic).

Next to the coupons on the site is a note of weekly sales. Take a look... Green Giant carrots in a 1 lb bag are on sale for $.99 a bag. I think they spelled this one out for us plain as day!!

Target deals...

I don't often post many deals about Target because my Target is not a superstore (little/no grocery items) and it's difficult to get in and out of. I do make it in when something is worth my trip.

Although I won't be able to use these deals unless we visit Hubby's brother this week, I thought they were worth passing along.

There are some new Target coupons available on their website. You can find the link for coupons at the bottom of their page, or you can use my link here to take you right to the coupons.

One is for $1 off of 1 lb or more of grapes and they are on sale for $1 a lb = FREE grapes
I sometimes just remove what I want from a bag and re-bag them in the other available bags that stores usually have. I don't like to pay for the ones that have been squished in the bottom of the bag. Also, if you do this you can separate them into 1 lb bags each.

There are lots of things you can do with grapes!
Some ideas...

• Use them in chicken salad
• Use them in fruit salad
• Dry them to make raisins
• Freeze them for a wonderful healthy treat almost like bite size popsicles.
• Roll them in powdered sugar for a fun snack

Any other ideas to share?

Another is for $2 off Sutton and Dodge Angus beef steak or roast. You can often find small steaks or roasts and use one of these coupons on each to make for really inexpensive beef.
